Description
Our client, a leading provider of critical infrastructure solutions, is seeking a Critical Environment Technician Level 1 to join their team. As a Critical Environment Technician Level 1, you will be part of the Facilities Operations team supporting Critical Environment & Data Center Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and excellent problem‑solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Type: Contract
What's the Job?
- Perform daily operational rounds and log readings for critical electrical equipment, including temperatures, voltages, and currents.
- Follow established SOPs for critical environment work activities and support scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
- Complete quarterly and annual UPS maintenance, system control panel inspections, and battery preventative maintenance.
- Assist with troubleshooting, repairs, and replacement of electrical instruments and sensors, including calibration work.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and security procedures while supporting a high‑availability operational environment.
What's Needed?
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical, controls, automotive, data center, or related technical fields.
- OSHA or OSHA‑approved NFPA 70E Certification (Required).
- Solid understanding of electrical systems within high‑availability or critical infrastructure environments.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code; Qualified Electrical Worker certification preferred.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including 12‑hour or rotating shifts, and proficiency with MS Office applications.
