The Senior Director will be a people-focused leader, working with a diverse team of talented and motivated individuals to transition an on-premise reporting data infrastructure to an offsite multipurpose data architecture that is scalable, resilient, compliant, and flexible.
The Senior Director will be curious, keeping abreast of evolving data engineering platforms, data architectures and modeling methods, and data management tools that will enable Princeton’s strategic roadmap for institutional data and analytics. The Senior Director will be collaborative, maintaining trusted relationships with OIT leaders and functional partners to enable a reporting strategy that encompasses operational reporting from ERP and application systems, as well as integrated analytics to answer Princeton’s most pressing strategic questions. The Senior Director will be systematic yet agile, incorporating architecture, design, and project management standards across projects and operations, while encouraging demonstration projects to incrementally build capacity for data-informed decision making.
