Job Description Summary:
The Infrastructure Security Operations organization manages data protection infrastructure services for the company. The group works very closely with server, data center, application and database teams to provide highly available and secure data solutions for all of Equitable. It resides in Infrastructure Security Operations and is a key component of the security infrastructure helping our customers.
Job Description:
The Infrastructure Service Delivery Manager is responsible for platform ownership and administrator duties of various Data Protection Technologies including Guardium.
Description of Responsibilities:
- These duties include software installation/upgrade and patching, configuration specifications, performance tuning, monitoring, report creation and ensuring the availability of the hardware and software infrastructure.
- The candidate will be responsible for overall operational support of the tools and the supporting teams, which will include offshore resources.
- Candidate must have experience with various operating systems, knowledge of database functionality, data management concepts, and great communication skills in order to work effectively with various internal groups, and software vendors.
- The candidate will maintain a very close working relationship with the data owners, risk management and operations teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and other security best practices.
- In addition, the candidate will need to manage the relationship with the SW vendor including interfacing with the SW vendor for contract renewals, upgrades, break-fix and technical support.
Skills required to ensure your success include:
Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of concept and principles of agile methodology; ability to apply appropriate agile approaches in the processes of software development and delivery.
Cloud Computing: Knowledge of cloud concepts and technologies; ability to design, develop, support and manage cloud computing products.
Hardware Infrastructure: Knowledge of computer architecture and systems programming; ability to design, build and integrate IT hardware into multi-platforms for the organization.
Network Engineering: Knowledge of the processes, tools and technologies for network engineering; ability to utilize and manage these for planning, designing, construction and support of wireline and wireless networks.
Systems Software Infrastructure: Knowledge of computer architecture and system software interaction; ability to design and build a fundamental architecture of operating systems, database management systems, communications protocols, compilers and other development tools.
Vendor/Supplier Management: Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers).

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor (4 year) degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
- Solid understanding of operating systems
- Expert understanding of database administration and security with SQL, Oracle and DB2
- Must have experience with set-up, configuration and troubleshooting of encryption and enterprise monitoring systems/applications and high initiative to become an SME with the product
- Must have 7 or more years of information technology experience
- 5+ years hands on Unix/Linux and/or Windows admin experience
- Experience building, implementing and maintaining mission critical, highly available (7 x24) systems
- Install and configure agents on Unix/Linux and/or Windows servers
- Ability to develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
- Ability to develop and maintain tool security policy files
- Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
- Experience with performing back up operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Imperva Data Security appliance.
- Experience with IBM Guardium security.
- 3 years of database information security technology experience or database administration.
- Demonstrated ability to research recommend innovative and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
- Identify approaches that leverage existing or future resources and provide economies of scale.
- Extensive knowledge of encryption methodologies, monitoring systems, and tokenization concepts.
- Systems Administration/System Engineer or DBA certification is a PLUS.
