Primary Job Function:
Architect integrated end-to-end solutions for Track & Trace (serialization) systems to address the business and regulatory serialization requirements.
Collaborated with all involved functions to ensure integrity of data and processes.
Ensure re-usability & scalability of Track & Trace solutions to optimize implementation cycles and costs in subsequent Track & Trace deployments.
Continuous review and improvement of existing Track & Trace solutions - optimize and standardize
Provides wider vision of the pertinent processes and technology - responsible for the overall direction for the EPD Track & Trace IT infrastructure.
Managing the Track & Trace systems and interfaces solution portfolio and owns the Track & Trace system lifecycle roadmap from an IT perspective. (e.g., plan system renewals).
Orchestrate IT hardware and Operating systems renewals with corporate IT infrastructure teams.
Work closely with Project Manager Track & Trace to gather, analyze, understand and translate the business processes and demand in re-useable Track & Trace solutions (standard building blocks) covering technology and support aspects. (Technology in the broadest sense covering e.g., new infrastructure hardware, capacity management, disaster recovery and security).
Overseeing the Track & Trace system landscape and understanding data flows, systems and interface dependencies.
Drive standardization - level with the different business teams on local, regional and global level and drive new demands to standardized Track & Trace system solutions (building blocks).
Skills:
Expert in defining solutions and system architecture which includes,
Detailed understanding of Track & Trace (serialization) principles (in pharma domain).
Wide knowledge of IT ecosystems/concepts covering applications, cloud, hosting platforms and system interfacing.
Have a good understanding of segregation of networks and ISA 95 model.
Have a good understanding of the differences between IT Information Technology (IT) and Operations Technology (OT or automation) and how to connect systems from both domains.
Have a good conceptual understanding of data management principles (e.g., data flows, data ingestion, data cleansing, data harmonization).
Ability to understand and document business requirements, develop business / technology solutions leveraging common practices, standard capabilities (building blocks) and challenge requirements not aligned with agreed templates and native capabilities.
Able to negotiate and influence business choices to align with technology standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and strong interdisciplinary, intercultural and networking skills.
IT Compliance - understand the Software Life Cycle policies and apply to deliver / drive the delivery of related documentation as part of deployment projects.
Pragmatic, flexible and results driven without giving in on compliance/quality.
Endurance -persistent in getting the job done - able to work in a continuous changing environment.
Proactive and self managing attitude.
Education Requirements:
Masters or bachelor's degree in Computer Science (preferred), or related business field relevant for function.
Infrastructure Architecture (e.g., TOGAF, DYA)
Preferred - Microsoft SQL Anyware experience/knowledge
Preferred - XML experience/knowledge
Preferred - ISA 95 certified
Preferred - Project Management certified (e.g., Prince2, PMI)
Preferred - Software validation / Life Cycle management (e.g., GAMP 5)
Preferred - IT Service Management certified (e.g., ITIL)
Preferred - experience / knowledge of ERP systems and interfaces
Preferred - Experience with setting up connections to/interfacing with engineering systems
Experience Required:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a large or midsized multinational organization.
1-2 years of experience in solution architect role
Proven track record in IT technical roles proving the wide experience in IT system and infrastructure domain.
Preferred: experience with setting up system interfaces
Preferred: proven track record in track & trace (in Pharma)
Experience with Data Management - high level knowledge - Preferred: data gathering / data harmonization / data models / reporting
IT compliance & governance experience.
