Description OVERVIEW: The VUMC data center is a 24x7 operation and hosts all the medical center's most critical IT infrastructure. The Data Center Operations team is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving the critical IT infrastructure that supports a top 10 biomedical research program, a nationally recognized adult and children's hospital that provides care to over 2 million patients per year, and the Vanderbilt Health Affiliated Network which works with over 60 hospitals and 5,000 clinics across the Southeastern US. The Data Center Operator installs, uninstalls, and moves hardware including cabinets, shelves, power strips, rails, fiber/copper/other cables and cable management, servers, storage, and other devices
