What does a great QA Test Engineer do? A quality assurance engineer creates tests to find any problems with software before the product is launched. They identify and analyze any bugs found during testing and document them. They also must to pay very close attention to detail and coach their team on managing testing tools, reporting results, and motivating process improvement. A normal workday for a quality assurance engineer includes developing new tests to run, running the tests, and documenting the results; if any defects are noted the quality assurance engineers will need to collaborate with the software developers to find a fix and patch the program. Once the defect has been patched, they will need to run the test again to make sure there are no new bugs and to make sure the defect found has been corrected.
User acceptance and regression testing for large-scale account processing system undergoing data center move
Creating and executing UAT cases and regression cases
Utilizing Tosca test automation as needed (running automated cases and/or automating manual cases)
Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
5+ years financial systems and/or banking IT experience
5+ years of experience working with multi-functional teams on large-scale enterprise IT projects
5+ years TFS/AzureDevOps experience
Tosca AS1 and AS2 certified or equivalent automation experience
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Experience working on IBM mainframe and/or 3270 emulation environment a plus
Experience with data center infrastructure projects a plus
