What does a great Systems Administrator do for Fiserv?
The Systems Administrator is responsible for the Operation and Administration of the servers in the Digital Channel Lower lab environments, both in Fiserv datacenters and Azure. The lower labs are utilized by Fiserv staff for the development, support and implementation of the core portfolio of Application products Digital Channels provide to its clients.
The responsibilities include the oversite of the physical environments in the Irving datacenter including hosts, virtual systems and network infrastructure, Duties include the ongoing operation, administration and support of the systems to Fiserv standards and policies including the compliance toolsets. The role includes performing functions like system upgrades, capacity management, incident management, system reliability, and backup services as well as adhoc support to developers and business teams.
The Senior Systems Administrator is also responsible for driving IT projects as identified from time to time by the business and will ensure that agreed SLA's for system availability and reliability are met.
You're the kind of person who can:

Develop technical solutions including designing and managing the rollout of critical infrastructures to support Fiserv's products and services, on both a strategic (long term) and tactical (immediate term) level.

Design and implement short and long-term strategic plans to make sure server infrastructure meets existing and future requirements including input to the annual budget process. This includes both new products/services as well as maintaining/refreshing existing infrastructure.

Stay abreast of how technology innovation are currently impacting and driving the company.

Ensure that infrastructure is fully documented. Implement and maintain policies, procedures for network environment, including but not limited to PCI compliance policies and procedures

Providing assist to teams spread all over the globe.

Complete asset and CI management including compliance mandated systems

Use technical expertise to exceed performance expectations for systems administration tasks.

Maintain all systems to a high standard to ensure 24x7 uptime for the development environments team.

Provide first level and second level support to users.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
-
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.

3+ years' experience in Microsoft server technologies including Active Directory and Group Policies

Minimum of 2 years' experience with Enterprise level (multi-site and multi-server, data center Infrastructure or Cloud Environments) Systems administration and engineering

Experience with VMWare , Windows Server, Splunk, scripting tools.

Experience with Azure, AWS or other Cloud-based PaaS/SaaS environments

Ability to work on-call
