Responsibilities
* Work as a member of our BI and Database Application teams to architect, design, develop and maintain Applications in Postgres using PL/PgSQL.
* Write efficient and performant SQL code and optimize current code base.
* Adopt best practices to write Database Unit Testing.
* Use Oracle Business Intelligence or similar tools to model dimensions and facts for various subject areas.
* Help Migrating existing Oracle Business Intelligence based applications to a Cloud based BI Platform.
* Work closely with product managers and QA team for new feature requirements and quality improvement, respectively.
* Work with data center operation team on production issue troubleshooting and issue resolutions.
* Automate the software packaging and deployment with a single action.

* Demonstrated strong experience and understanding of database design concepts and data modeling skills.
* Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into logical and physical data models.
* Demonstrated strong experience in coding PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL stored procedures and functions.
* Demonstrated strong experience in database query optimization and performance tuning for reporting tools and ETLs.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Must be a team player and willing to take ownership for issues and solutions.
* Proactive with a can-do attitude
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
* Experience using shell scripting, Python, and Java
* Knowledge and understanding of Hadoop architecture
