What you’ll be doing...
DevOps Engineers are responsible for ensuring BlueJeans Cloud services highly available, reliable, secure and scalable.
Automation, Orchestration and tools creation.
Develop automation to improve our ability to rapidly deploy, effectively and proactively monitor applications in a large-scale environment.
Work closely with engineering teams and function well in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment.
Clear understanding of Agile development methodologies, DevOps(SRE & Tools) best practices, and the product development lifecycle.
Employ deep troubleshooting and scripting skills to improve the availability, capacity, and security of BlueJeans Cloud Services.
Design, build, integrate, improve and manage our CI/CD tools and pipelines Implementation of proactive monitoring, alerting, trend analysis and self-healing systems
Design system support documents and production application service run books where needed.
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
What we’re looking for...
You will need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
DevOps best practices experience.
Experience in a SaaS product running on Private and Public Data centers.
Experience in Linux System Administration
Experience in Kubernetes on Public Cloud AWS / Azure and Private Cloud.
Experience with Python or GoLang
Experience using automation (CI/CD) frameworks such as Jenkins, GitOps - ArgoCD
Experience with Nexus, Jfrog, Bitbucket and other Atlassian products
Experience with Monitoring and Logging solutions (e.g. DataDog, New Relic, Splunk, Sumo etc)
Experience with IaC i.e. Terraform/Helm and Cloud formation
Experience with Configuration management i.e. Chef and Ansible
Experience with modern cloud development practices (micro services architectures, REST interfaces, etc.)
On-call rotation to support our tools stack
Even better if you have:
A strong dedication to code quality, automation and operational excellence
Good communication and inter personal skills
Knowledge of H.323, SIP and any other buzzworthy technology in video / voice conferencing.
MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra or other database expertise (you name it, we probably use it)
Ability to Learn the strengths and weaknesses of the latest open source software and tools
Ability to Fix something, design something, implement something, and dream up something all in the same day
