In this role CBRE is looking for a quick learner with a high attention to detail and who can present innovative ways to improve the overall processes within the Data Center Operations team. The Data Analytics Manager will enable the life cycle of Computerized Maintenance Management System ("CMMS") data collection and data quality for datacenter infrastructure construction projects. The Data Analytics Manager will maintain the content of dashboards and provide regular reports to project stakeholders. They will launch and manage data collection projects, including any required templates and infrastructure on both physical inventory and process efficiency to include equipment, location, spares, inventory management, and vendors. The data collected and managed by the Data Analytics Manager will enable stakeholders to proceed with equipment transactions and will support near- and long-term equipment operations.
The goal of the Data Analytics Manager is to validate each project against data quality business rules and engage the correct sources of data and any required stakeholders to complete the validations including metrics, KPIs, dashboards, forecasts, models, etc. They will analyze and transform data into information for decision making and will clean and correct data inaccuracies for upload into CMMS. They will be overall responsible for assuring quality and accuracy of reporting outputs.
As supervisor, the Data Analytics Manager will supervise a small group of contractor Data Analysts. In this role, they will provide mentoring and coaching to the staff, assist in alignment to client needs and support their professional growth.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Research and process development for current state and future state.
Cross-functional communications to support projects including, but not limited to email, presentations, demonstrations, training, videos
Development and deployment of documentation and resources for end user support.
Understands data, SQL, Normalization, general Database knowledge.
Support the identification, anomaly detection, and cleansing of data from various sources.
Track the progress of all data collection projects using dashboards.
Create, update, and close bugs for all data collection projects.
Isolate data errors and update bugs as required to progress, communicate, and memorialize actions taken in each data collection project.
Prepare templates, files, data and other requirements to support data collection, upload, and issue correction.
Perform data analysis to determine options for reported data quality issues.
Support alignment of data to the data standards, including data quality business rules, taxonomies, acceptable value lists, written documentation, and other applicable engineering standards .
Interact with stakeholder and third-party vendors (as needed) regarding data and issue correction.
Record meeting minutes and manage communications with key stakeholders and third-party vendors.
Manage project documentation, revision control and sites page.
Build and communicate status reports.
Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.
