The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatal and Developmental Medicine is dedicated to the School of Medicine's mission of advancing and exploring innovative and novel biomedical, translational, and clinical research and education. Through our integrated research, education, patient, and community outreach programs, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic medicine and patient care. A component of the Division is the California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative (CMQCC).
CMQCC's mission is to transform maternity care in California by defining, disseminating and implementing clinical best practices and quality improvement techniques, and by providing rapid cycle data, quality improvement tools and strategies for clinicians to improve maternal outcomes. Among this set of tools is the Maternal Data Center (MDC)a web application that provides performance metrics and analytic tools to participating hospitals and their staff. CMQCC is looking for candidates with diverse backgrounds to join our Maternal Data Center team.
The CMQCC Maternal Data Center Program Manager will work collaboratively with CMQCC leadership and staff to ensure the continued success of the Data Center. The ideal Program Manager will thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented and collaborative environment, and enjoy providing support to customers at 300 hospitalshelping those MDC users to access and navigate the MDC application and understand detailed performance measures and analytic tools.
While Bay-Area residents are preferred for this Palo Alto-based position, CMQCC will consider strong candidates who can work remotely.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
.Manage the recruitment, onboarding, training, tracking, and client support for all hospitals and healthcare systems that join the Maternal Data Center (MDC). Accountable for hospitals' successful use of the MDC and customer satisfaction.
Provide written deliverables and reports for CMQCC funders and business partners for relevant MDC projects.
Working with CMQCC management, support all human subjects, data confidentiality and data sharing processes related to Maternal Data Center operations, including management of all IRB and state agency review processes.
Working with CMQCC management, assist in the review and oversight of the MDC application and the development of products aimed at supporting client use of the MDC application.
Perform analytics and make recommendations related to member fees and member awards programs.
Support updates to the quality measures utilized within the MDC application, including reviews of updated measure specifications and coding used in measure algorithms.

At least 2 years of experience with healthcare data and analytics preferred.
Ability to problem-solve customer needs in a professional, engaging and supportive manner
Demonstrated facility with interpreting data and graphs
Ability to quickly learn the technical details of a specialty web application
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
