CBRE is looking for a Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) Facilitator to work closely with our client in Mountain View, CA. This position is to be based in Mountain View, CA.
The FMEA Facilitator is responsible for tracking and managing our client's many construction projects using dashboards and other metrics / KPI tracking tools. The FMEA Facilitator will work with internal and external Data Center teams to drive Quality initiatives and reporting. This is program level initiative, not an individual project level. Therefore, knowledge and use of typical program level metrics or KPIs will be helpful. This role will work closely with a team of cross-functional stakeholders across the organization and other relevant stakeholders to develop, optimize and oversee our quality data systems.
The FMEA Facilitator will work independently with minimal guidance and proactively use available resources to meet deadlines and complete tasks. On a day to day basis, the individual will compile program needs, manipulate and analyze data, facilitate stakeholder meetings, manage risk assessment with stakeholders and deliver visual representations to optimize program needs and results.
Coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including the following teams:
Subject Matter Experts Data Center Design & Construction Project Management Data Center Quality team Program Controls Group Data Center Engineering and Design team Data Center Operations teams Data Center Construction team and other cross functional teams as necessary.
With the above organizations, perform the following quality programs services:
Identify and track/monitor DFMEA and PFMEA action items (collaboration with Reliability Teams)
Monitor and review status of action items throughout the Product Life Cycle (PLC)
Manage and upload DFMEA with available risk scenarios
Facilitate and manage DFMEA risk assessment meetings
Schedule meetings with stakeholders as needed to develop Risk Priority Number (RPN) scores, relevant action items and updates on action items status to the end of the product development cycle.
Report of DFMEA status and relevant action items
Ensure the DFMEA is integrated to the product development process (aka PLC Process)
Ensure all design functions risk scenarios (identified by TLs & SMEs) are included in the DFMEA document(s)
Ensure completeness of the DFMEA
Ensure the completeness of the action items tracking sheet
Ensure completeness of action items delivery throughout the PLC process
Ensure good communication of the DFMEA risks and relevant action items status
Prior experience managing and facilitating meeting with multiple stakeholders

Prior experience with Process Management, providing tools and resources for analyzing, defining, optimizing, monitoring and driving improved performance of interdependent business processes

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university. Minimum four years of related experience. Prior Supervisory experience preferred.

BA/BS degree in Business Process Management, Engineering, Science, Mathematic or equivalent practical experience. Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of an organization with experience leading cross-functional process improvements Tenacious problem solver with effective verbal/written communication and facilitation skills. 3-5 years of experience (in at least 2 of the following 3 fields): Facilitating and Managing DFMEA / PFMEA Management and/or Facilitating Root-Cause Analysis (RCA) Failure Data Analysis
Software Fluency: Practical required Software experience: Google Drive Google Sheets Google Docs Google Slides Google Hangouts / Google Meet Google Chat
Other optional software application experience: Tableau or Data Studio or other dashboard creation software Collect user inputs through a Google Form into a Google Sheets dashboard. Retrieve data with LOOKUP formulas Apply logic with conditional formulas
