Corgan is actively looking for a dedicated Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) with deep benefits experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing strategic HR and business initiatives with assigned clients and for being the key benefits and wellness point of contact for the entire firm. This individual will partner with business leaders to develop and execute strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
HR Generalist Responsibilities:
Providing proactive consultation to client groups to include people driven solutions for enhancing organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, talent development, culture building, and employee relations.
Working with business and functional leaders to drive talent strategies that engage and retain our best talent.
Monitoring practices and policies to ensure compliance.
Ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of our practice.
Completing special projects as assigned.
Designing, evaluating, and modifying benefits policies and plans by working with brokers, vendors, and management to ensure that programs are current, competitive and in compliance with legal requirements.
Coordinating and managing wellness program and initiatives.
Fulfilling reporting requirements for health and welfare, as well as 401(k) benefit plans such as 5500 and Non-Discrimination.
Managing leave requests including FMLA, LOA, maternity, short-term disability.
Administering workers’ compensation insurance program and claims process.
Coordinating and executing annual Open Enrollment period.
6+ years of Human Resources experience
Bachelor’s degree; or combination of high school diploma and equivalent experience
Specialized knowledge and experience in benefits
Exceptional customer service skills required
Attention to detail, paired with flexibility and a can-do spirit
Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple clients
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Proficient in the use of HRIS (Ultimate Software preferred), Outlook, and MS Office Suite
