UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an experienced Microsoft Windows Systems Administrator interested in applying their technical expertise to fast-paced, customer-focused production support and development environments in Infrastructure and Communication Technology (ICT), a unit within UFIT.
Employment with UFIT provides an excellent opportunity to work with other employees dedicated and focused on understanding and interpreting the technological needs of the University of Florida’s innovative and inspirational community.
As part of ICT, you will lead medium to large-sized projects and direct teams responsible for maintenance, installation, configuration, and deployment of advanced hardware and software systems. You and your team will participate in managing UF Data Centers and delivering hosted server, storage, virtualization, database, email, or related systems. These systems connect University of Florida campuses and research sites around the world via high-speed data, video, WI-FI, telecommunications, and VoIP services.

Assisting Microsoft Platform Team in architecture and implementation.
Providing leadership, advice, and recommendations on enterprise systems administration and management technologies.
Mentoring and cultivating fellow talented staff members.

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and eight years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
