FAIS seeks a full time Senior Accountant to begin immediately. The Senior Accountant must possess strong organizational, analytical, and complex task management skills with excellent interpersonal skills and customer service oriented attitude while handling confidential information. This role must work effectively as part of the Business Office team, but also able to manage time effectively and work independently.
The primary role of this position is to support the mission of the School by responsible for processing Payroll and Accounts Payable for the staff and vendors and reconciling the activity in the related general ledger account. This position is part of the Business Office team that assists the Chief Financial Officer in developing and implementing account policies and procedures and also works closely with Human Resources and Accounts Receivables.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required. Minimum of three years full charge accounting experience with advanced accounting software applications is required, Payroll processing experience and proficiency with computer applications (specifically Word, Excel) is also required.
Preferred Qualifications: Five years of accounting experience with emphasis on Not-For-Profit/Fund accounting. Multi-state payroll experience. Veracross software and Paycom payroll system experience is preferred.
Compensation: Annual competitive salary and a full benefits package
