The Manager Network Operations will be responsible for:
Operating and supporting the hospital networks. This includes all network provisioning including data center server provisioning, new network deployments and end user connectivity support.
This team has on-call responsibility and will be primary responders to network and IT incidents.
To qualify, you must have...
Strong understanding of all facets of enterprise network architecture, including:
Strong understanding of data center network provisioning
Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches
Networking of VMWare ESX virtual servers
Networking of HP blade enclosures
Serve as the primary representative for Networking during IT, security or network incidents
Manage the on-call response
Understanding and use of network management tools
Utilize, maintain and enhance network management tools
Respond to alerts generated by network monitoring systems
Proactively manage network capacity and configuration issues
Strong customer service skills
Ticket queue management
Dealing with disgruntled users
Working with all levels of technical experience
Prioritization and delegation of work
Manage staffing levels and coverage
Employee evaluations and discipline
Training and coaching
