Job Summary The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is seeking applicants for the position of Manager, Network Operations. The position reports to the Director of Telecommunications, Networking, and Audiovisual technologies and is responsible for leading the network team in the analysis, design, implementation, operation, deployment, and support of the university data network and data center. This includes development of network strategies, planning and policies, project and end user support, training and supervision of network team members.

Minimum Education and Experience
When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience.
Minimum Skills and Abilities Knowledge of information technology principles and applications, network management methodologies and new technologies. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems. Ability to plan, assign, and/or supervise the work of others. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Desired Qualifications Advanced knowledge of networking technologies/topologies and network management experience. Networking and network security certifications. Three (3) or more years of managerial/supervisory experience.
Salary Range: $68,700 - $114,500
