CBRE is looking for a Commissioning Business Analyst to work closely with our client in Sunnyvale, CA.
This position is to be based in Mountain View, CA.
Quality & Commissioning teams have programs benefiting the Data Centers teams, General Contractors, and Commissioning Authorities. We have a broad portfolio of projects and require assistance for database analysis and development. The projects are led by Program Managers, and this role will work closely with a team of cross-functional stakeholders across the organization and other relevant stakeholders to develop, optimize and oversee our quality data systems. Deep understanding of data pipeline design, scripting, extract, transform, load data into data warehouse, and develop quality dashboards meeting internal standards.
This role supports the team's data pipeline, dashboard development, and program tools. The expectation is for the Analyst to work independently with minimal guidance and proactively use available resources to meet deadlines and complete tasks. On a day to day basis, the individual will compile program needs, manipulate and analyze data, track trends, look for improvements, and deliver visual representations to optimize program needs and results.
Support teams in developing data pipeline, dashboard development, and enhancements.
Ability to visualize, design and execute data representation to meet the program needs and manage the communication across the organization
Design, implement and maintain database solutions, including scripting using SQL and or Python.
Improve and develop new and existing dashboards supporting business growth and scalability.
Hands on experience on End to End (E2E) reporting, data warehousing, data governance
Monitor performance and implement the necessary infrastructure optimization.
Provision accesses, execute administrative tasks for established programs and provide support for any tool issues or challenges that may arise.
Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to complete project deliverables related to data analysis and testing.
Prepare data schema design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.
Offer support by responding to databases problems promptly.
Demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn quickly and complete large volumes of work with high quality.
Demonstrate outstanding collaboration, interpersonal communication, and excellent writing skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
Support training contents development and train the users on tools/processes.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from top tier school in computer science, math, engineering or related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in quantitative analysis, data modeling, reporting, relational database tools, data warehousing, database architecture, and SQL, SAS and/or SPSS including 2-3 years technical experience in software development, machine learning or statistical analysis, data engineering and data visualization related work.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or equivalent academic credentials.
Experience with data model of IBM Maximo, Oracle Primavera P6, Autodesk BIM360 or any construction management software
Experience with Unix Shell script.
Experience with Lucid charts, smartsheets or any other project management tool
3-5 years experience required in data analytic
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Hands-on experience with design, development, and support of data analysis (1+ year)
Hands-on experience using statistical methods for data analysis (1+ year)
Experience with data platform and visualization technologies such as Tableau, Data Studio, and BigQuery or any data visualization tool
Strong knowledge of G suite of products (sheets, slides, docs)
Strong design and development skills with meticulous attention to detail
Familiarity with Agile Software Development practices and working in an agile environment
Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining
Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
