Our Greenville, SC office has the opportunity for an experienced Systems Engineer to join the Firm’s expanding practice. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for Windows Server 2019/2016/2012R2/2008R2, CommVault backup, Solarwind monitoring, Active Directory Services (AD DS), Pure and EMC storage and Hyper-V.

Experience with Windows Server 2019/2016/2012R2/2008R2, CommVault backup, Windows PowerShell scripting, Active Directory Services (AD DS), Solarwind monitoring configuration, Pure and EMC storage and Hyper-V
Expertise in CommVault infrastructure, backup, administration, configuration, backup data protection, backup data management and maintenance
Expertise in designing, planning, installing, configuring, maintaining and enhancing CommVault backup software
Expertise with SolarWinds configuration, monitoring, deployment (VMM, NPM, SRM, IPAM, Audit and Log)
Expertise in operational support for Incident Management, Change Management (Planning & Execution), Root cause analysis / Problem Management, Capacity / Architectural Management
Service improvements/enhancements by way of Service Improvement Plans, not limited to automation of routine activities, optimization of resources
Experience on storage technologies EMC Xtrem, EMC Isilon, EMC Unity and Pure Storage systems preferred
Experience managing cloud storage and applications in a Azure cloud
Hands-on automation/scripting experience with PowerShell Scripting
Good knowledge of ITIL processes preferred
4+ years in working with Compute, Storage, Network Security, Infrastructure and Data Center technologies.
2+ years hands-on experience with CommVault backup systems, storage, scheduling and maintenance of repository.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment, to appropriately prioritize tasks and keep abreast of the latest technology.
Experience with Azure storage configuration and management.
Working knowledge of NAS, SAN storage, backups and storage technologies.
Must have knowledge of Virtualization Technologies (Hyper-V), Windows concepts including Domains, Active Directory, and the interaction between hardware, operating systems, network, storage, and application software.
