The Technology Infrastructure (TI) team within the Information Technology (IT) is responsible for enterprise-wide infrastructure services across the global footprint, including networking, production services, storage, data centers, mainframe, midrange and Cloud-based systems, distributed systems, and international infrastructure.
Wells Fargo's Circuit Management Services Team is seeking a Voice & Data Circuit Provisioner to support the daily work flow of simple and moderately complex telephony & circuit order needs. This position is expected to have functional & technical knowledge of voice & data telecom services for T1 level and below, specifics on how to place circuit orders with Telco vendors and the ability to troubleshoot issues with vendors to come up with alternate options for orders in jeopardy.
Provisioning of voice & data circuit orders to telecom vendors.
Manage circuit order timelines and milestones for on-time delivery.
Manage jeopardies, determining impacts and designing action plans for issue resolution.
Meet aggressive mission critical initiatives by managing carriers to meet deadlines and time to market.
Acts as liaison to business partners in regard to basic provisioning requests.
Proactively manage escalations and expedites on priority basis by understanding the business impact.
Communicate order status to appropriate business contacts concerning timeframes and resolutions to meet Business requirements.
Supervise the order through full lifecycles.
Analyze orders to ensure Business needs are met.
Respond to all internal and external client inquiries quickly, efficiently and professionally.
Maintain an ongoing partnership with the carriers.
Research and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Ensure all services are updated in Inventory to reflect order activity.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as all audit requirements.
May require working independently or in a group.
University Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Telecom or Computers related discipline.
Experience of 3+ years in Circuit management systems.
Knowledge in POTS, 4G/5G and Ethernet circuit provisioning.
Fluency in English.
2+ years of hands on, operational work experience with provisioning voice lines & low band width data circuits.
Previous work experience with top tier telecom providers, preferably Verizon, AT&T, CenturyLink, Level 3.
Prior experience interacting with Telecom Carriers.
Knowledge and understanding of telecom: products and services
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
