Provides management and direction of RMPDS electronic voice communications environment, call recording technologies, IVR development and support, call routing design and implementation, deployment and support of telecommunications related software and servers, and RightFax support. Provides scalable and redundant voice network solutions. Directs senior team members on complex projects, including: Voice Network Management solutions, call routing, Integrated Data/Voice Network Management solutions, and technical and procedural documentation, disaster recovery planning/testing, budgeting, and system monitoring tools. Ensures Telecommunications technology is current, secure and meets industry standard redundancy and disaster recovery. Directs work with internal customers, vendors, and internal support personnel to achieve maximum network and equipment availability in a critical need 7x24 environment. Manages Telecommunications staff in priority and goal setting, project management, operations, internal customer service, and short/mid/long range planning.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Education and Experience 1. Bachelor's Degree required. Concentration in Computer Science/Telecommunications or Business Administration required. 2. Continued technical training and/or education as required to maintain competency in current and future industry trends and continuous improvement. 3. Five (5) years of technical experience in VoIP and LAN/WAN infrastructure management required. 4. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree: a. Associates degree and eight (8) years technical experience in VoIP and LAN/WAN infrastructure management required. b. High school diploma/ GED and eleven (11) years of technical experience in VoIP and LAN/WAN infrastructure management required. 5. One year of Health Care Industry experience required. 6.
