The Senior Network Engineer will provide senior administrative and technical support of enterprise network with a focus on layer 3 routing, routing in the VMWare environment with a focus on NSX. Routing in cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
Responsible for engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities with areas within the network telecommunications function with a focus of layer 3 routing and virtual routing and forwarding deployment and software defined networking. Assist in the development, implementation, monitoring and support of enterprise level network distribution equipment including Network Address Control and IT Security posturing. Provide support in network projects and requirements. Support network equipment to ensure proper operation including upgrades and installations. Help to develop and update network policies and procedures. Report, record, and work with departments to resolve network related issues and incidents. Other functions as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field. Four (4) years of experience in Enterprise Networking or other related field, CCNA Routing and Switching or INCIS-ENT Certification working or the equivalent experience. Practical experience with CISCO/Juniper Networking equipment.
Advanced degree in Information Technology or related field Experienced with virtual machine deployments Experienced with F5 Load Balance Equipment Certifications related to the duties and responsibilities specified (ex: CCNA Cloud, CCNA Data Center, CCNA Wireless or JNCIP-ENT, JNCIE-ENT)
