The candidate for the position of Enterprise System Remediation Architect must meet the following qualifications:
â¢Â Â Â Bachelorâs degree in a relevant field such as computer science, computer information systems, etc., or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
â¢Â Â Â Minimum of five years of experience in information technology, higher education, or another relevant field.
â¢Â Â Â Experience developing and delivering integration solutions and strategies.
â¢Â Â Â Strong understanding of data integration, ETL, messaging patterns, and web services.
â¢Â Â Â Understanding of data modeling, master data management, enterprise data warehousing, querying, requirements analysis, and data modeling techniques.
â¢Â Â Â Extensive knowledge in web technologies, multiple operating systems, programming and development languages, and standards.
â¢Â Â Â Experience working with the software development life cycle (SDLC) methodology.
â¢Â Â Â Expert understanding of server architecture, administration, and security.
â¢Â Â Â Basic knowledge of network architecture.
â¢Â Â Â Ability to understand and work with large, complex systems.
â¢Â Â Â Experience contributing to and managing the development of policies and procedures.
â¢Â Â Â Ability to provide both detailed information as well as summaries to management.

THE WORK YOU WILL DO
The Enterprise System Remediation Architect will execute discovery and build an inventory of existing applications requiring data exchanges with the core financial transactional application. This role will then design remediation plans for each of the existing applications impacted by the replacement of the core financial ERP application(s). The Enterprise System Remediation Architect will work closely with the development, test, and release teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and data from an architecture, development, and operations perspective. As a member of ITS, the Enterprise System Remediation Architect demonstrates ITS values in action.
The Enterprise System Remediation Architect:
â¢Â Â Â Develops and oversees a repository of documentation related to integration architecture standards, protocols, frameworks, and techniques. Participates in regular touch points with department leaders, data integration teams, and vendors.
â¢Â Â Â Conceptualizes integration architecture by identifying business requirements, designs, prototypes, testing activities, and training.
â¢Â Â Â Develops overall integration remediation standards, guidelines, leading edge practices, and approved integration techniques and approaches.
â¢Â Â Â Assist in the development of integrations, flows, and mappings. Supports development of integration strategies by building roadmaps, processes, templates, patterns, workflows, and other documentation that meet current needs and anticipated future needs.
â¢Â Â Â Gains insights into and anticipates customer pain points, challenges, and needs for integrations. Identifies business value opportunities for customers, partners, and key stakeholders in administrative and academic units. Seeks to deliver quality solutions.
â¢Â Â Â Learns and adapts quickly to new situations, changing priorities, and disruptive technologies. Participates in the innovation process and continuous improvement by leveraging the latest industry knowledge. Takes the initiative to experiment with new ideas and technologies.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum educationMinimum Experience: 5 yearsMinimum Field of Expertise: The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certification, or similar. Knowledge and experience with multiple technologies including Java, .NET, application servers, integration hubs, N-Tier applications, database management systems, and open source trends. Experience with web-built, N-Tier enterprise applications, and in design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise applications. Demonstrated track record of communicating design concepts, policy, and standards to engineering and executive leadership. Knowledge of technical telecommunications systems, computer LAN/WAN systems, network protocols including TCP/IP, Citrix, VMware, Windows, Linux, Unified Communications, PCs, storage technologies, and data management techniques. Experience with data center, email or network consolidation, or other enterprise-wide technical consolidations. Knowledge of and ability to adhere to the SDLC methodology. Project management experience, and strong planning and execution skills.
