Primarily responsible for implementation, daily maintenance, and disaster recovery operations of Information Technology, telecommunications systems at CTIA and related building technology and resources including Firewalls, LAN, WAN, Colo, VPN, DNS, Wi-Fi, VoIP/voicemail, Cloud Systems, Windows OS, Web Servers, VMware, Databases, MSA storage, A/V, CATV, CCTV, environmental monitoring and other server room, network and cloud systems/components. Working with the Managing Director of Information Technology to design, develop, implement, maintain, and improve/manage the utilization of information technology by CTIA. No supervisory responsibilities. Reports to Managing Director, Information Technology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
Full ownership of implementing and maintaining all server room equipment and devices including firewalls, routers, switches, servers, environmental systems, MSA storage etc.
Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures.
Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving server, database, hardware, software, and other network and system problems and outages
Coordinating computer network access and use and performing disaster recovery operations and data backups as required.
Designing, configuring and testing networking software, system hardware, and operating system software; Upgrading systems with new versions, releases and models.
Operating tools to monitor the performance of networks, servers, systems and databases.
Troubleshooting and maintaining A/V, CATV, CCTV, lighting and video systems to include installation, on-going operation, and quality of service.
Working with Legal and other pertinent external parties to implement document retention and discovery policies.
Drafting and maintaining internal technical documentation and manuals including network and server architecture, logical and physical diagrams.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of and experience in configuring and maintaining network infrastructure, server and network OS, hardware, databases, business systems and cloud technologies.
Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), specifically Azure Cloud, Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS), specifically Office 365 and related Microsoft Cloud technologies such as Exchange Online and Dynamics 365 is strongly desired.
Network Design, SAN capacity planning, systems and network architecture.
Enterprise Firewall configuration and Management.
Router and Network Switch configuration and management.
Server configuration and management; Network and Backup Appliances.
Server and Systems Administration, Network Administration, Database Administration.
Experience with complex A/V systems to include sound, teleconferencing, video, control interfaces, and usability.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience in technologies including Cisco ASA, IPDS, VPN, DNS, SMTP, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Colo, Data centers, VOIP, IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, Azure, SIEM, Threat Intelligence, Web and SPAM filtering, SSL certificates, Domain names, UPS, Windows server OS 2012, 2016, Exchange Online, Office 365, SFTP, Dynamics 365, SQL Server 2008, 2012R2, 2016. HP servers, Xerox printers, HP enterprise MSA storage, Barracuda appliances, VMware, V-Sphere, SolarWinds, Database Activity Monitoring and administration, AD, Domain Controllers, Azure AD, A/V, CATV, CCTV, and video technologies.
Degree in information and/or telecommunication systems or comparable extensive applicable technical experience and certifications.
At least 10 years of experience working experience in a similar role in organizations/associations/ law firms, or in a similar professional services environment.
