As a Technical Program Manager, you lead complex multidisciplinary programs and projects with numerous cross-functional teams. You review requirements with internal stakeholders, compile data, and support senior product area PM's in developing business cases for approval through the project lifecycle.
As a TPM with Telecom experience, you will support program-wide initiatives lead by program subject matter experts in the area of physical network infrastructure and provide program level support for all disciplines related to network and telecom requirements. You will review technical designs from multiple stakeholders to consider implementing within our Data Center Fleet.
You will be responsible for identifying risks and gaps that exist within the existing network infrastructure designs. You will be responsible for effectively communicating to all program stakeholders, along with network area tech leads. You will work with site level program managers to develop project plans, provide status on individual projects, and develop reports to both stakeholders and senior management for communication of status, risks and decisions needed to continue driving active programs and projects. These tasks will include, but are not limited to:
Drive routine project meetings (kickoffs, weekly program, status review), manage project resources, and manage multiple concurrent projects to completion per chartered target dates, take meeting minutes and distribute
Leads cross-functional project teams composed of R&D, Engineers, Operations, Quality and Safety.
Run multiple projects from inception through completion
Interface with stakeholders from different organizations to develop scope, technical requirements and execution plans for new projects (taking an ambiguous requirement and developing an executable plan)
Set and manage expectations with internal and external teams to deliver the intended project scope, on time and on budget per project goals
Collect, analyze, and manage data from individual sites to generate reports to stakeholders and management teams
Assist with the enhancement of documentation related to process, MOPs, schedule templates, reports, and communication plans
Assist with cost analysis for programs that require value engineering
Supports Business Reviews and any preliminary or interim reviews related to the project through the reporting Technical Program Manager.
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.
Manages 3rd party project delivery resources/team. Responsible for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating team members.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University in a technical area of study. Minimum 6 years of experience in Telecommunications Engineering, Telecommunications Management, Network Engineering, or equivalent / similar practical experience and education preferred.
Certified RCDD, PMP, or similar industry certifications preferred.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Knowledge in MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices.
