Junior Server / Storage AdministratorUnder close supervision of the Data Center manager, the Junior Server / Storage Administrator will serve as a member of the Office of Information Technology (OIT) Data Center infrastructure team. Incumbents will be directly involved in the installation, configuration, testing, monitoring, troubleshooting and updating of hardware, operating systems software, third party and locally-written application software on computing systems operated by the Office of Information. The successful candidate will provide systems support for the enterprise backups, VEEAM, VMware, network-attached storage solutions, AWS backup and virtual services and operational support for user accounts and authorization, virtual machines, and disaster recovery.The Office of Information Technology (OIT) Data Center Infrastructure group provides core data center computing, security, disaster recover, network-attached storage, backup services and AWS Operational support to over 40,000 UCI faculty, staff and students in support of the University mission of research and instruction.The University of California, Irvine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer advancing inclusive excellence.
