Position Summary: Incumbent will operate as a working supervisor for the Data Center Operations team members and provides top tier troubleshooting within the Data Center. This position will also lead a vast array of projects, including architecture, development, and maintenance of critical hardware, applications/solutions, technical documentation, and evaluations of emergent technologies.
Rate Minimum $78,900.00 Maximum $179,900.00
Required Qualifications:4+ years desktop support experience in a networked business environmentAbility to independently solve technical issuesAbility to provide the highest level support for the enterprise computing environment requiring a comprehensive knowledge of enterprise server and storage, software, operating systems, email systems, network connectivity, data center operations, and printing servicesBachelor's degree or equivalent experience with emphasis on information systems, business administration, or healthcare related field with course work in systems analysis and development.Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise and motivate staffDemonstrated experience working as a project manager / leadDemonstrated skill to work independently and to prioritize and manage a relative number of simultaneous requests and to work on tasks which may not be clearly definedExcellent written and verbal communication skills for effective customer service, documentation, and communication with vendorsExtensive experience and the ability to effectively troubleshoot the enterprise class server, storage and data center operational systemsKnowledge of ITIL best practicesKnowledge of operating system internals, file systems, functions of hardware components, and how hardware and software components work together to form a computer systemMust be willing and able to work occasional weekends and evenings as neededMust carry a pager/phone and provide on-call support for IT related issuesSome knowledge of clinical systems such as patient registration, patient accounting, EMRs, or electronic medication administrationTechnical understanding of basic Windows and Linux based operating systems: Windows Server, RedHat, etc.Technical understanding of both wired and wireless networking, including: DNS, DHCP, WINS, TCP/IP, VPN, Ethernet/802.3, and Wireless/802.11Technical understanding of mobile operating systems including: Windows Mobile, iOS, Symbian, Android, and BlackberryThorough understanding of infrastructure management including: Active Directory, Group Policies, VMware, remote application deployment, and incident management.Working knowledge of Citrix related technologies
