The Systems Manager serves as a member of the Network and Systems Services team and is responsible for Linux (Redhat), Windows operating systems and Application systems installation, administration and troubleshooting; data center operations and providing leadership for the operations of the Systems team.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Four years of hands-on experience in configuring and managing enterprise systems hardware, software, applications and related infrastructure systems
Experience in: oInstalling, maintaining and troubleshooting Linux (Redhat), Windows operating systems and applications oData-center administration and capacity planning, inventory and equipment tracking, maintaining warranty and off-warranty support contracts
Knowledge of systems hardware (servers & appliances) and software performance measurement and evaluation techniques
Demonstrated and effective organizational, problem-solving, customer service, oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently and in coordination with others
Demonstrated evidence of commitment to diversity and equity
Successful interview and three background clearances: Criminal Background Check (Act 34); Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151); and FBI Federal Criminal History-Fingerprinting (Act 114)
Bachelor's or higher degree in the field of computer science or other related academic field
One year of supervisory experience leading IT staff

Anticipate, identify, minimize and mitigate technological risk and adverse situations.
Oversee the resolution of campus-wide IT infrastructure problems in a timely manner.
Exhibit and model creative ingenuity in an era of diminishing resources.
