The Data Operations Manager is responsible for a wide range of data work using the Tessitura Arts Enterprise Software (patron database system). This position manages all reporting solutions, data extraction and database use standards, and works within the Development and Marketing teams.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide technical expertise and strategy to the Marketing and Development staff in the design and execution of List, Extraction and Queries within Tessitura and in using these data extracts with canned and custom reports
Responsible for administering and maintaining the organization’s database to ensure the accuracy and integrity of vital data
Collaborate with management and IT staff in developing organization-wide standards and training programs for all users.
Strategize and recommend new, more efficient ways to maximize the use of the organization’s database for achieving organizational objectives as well as solve/resolve any issues within the database.
Manage patron data and list trades in TRG Arts Data Center
Produce requested mailing lists recognizing privacy requests, VIP status, etc. of constituent records for company communications
Manage communications schedule to ensure that patrons do not receive mail/email/phone calls from multiple departments at the same time
Supervise the Data Operations Coordinator, ensuring that their work is accurate, timely and complete
Design and maintain sales reports for single and subscription tickets as well as Key Performance Indicator report, year-over-year comparisons and sales pacing charts to meet the needs of the Marketing team
When needed, prepare audience migration, patron retention, and campaign response reports
Design and maintain reports on fundraising statistics and progress that will maximize efficiency of Development staff.
Monthly creation and collaboration with Development staff on donor lists for monthly program book.
Ensure that donation entry and acknowledgements are executed daily and accurately by the Data Operations Coordinator and Annual Fund Coordinator
Other duties as assigned

BA/BS in Technology or equivalent work experience preferred
Three years of data management experience preferred
Proficient in MS Excel, or MS SQL Server Report Builder required
Passion for data, knowledge and collaboration required
Ability to communicate technical information with colleagues from all departments
Experience with Tessitura database preferred
